RETROFITTING WORK

Retrofitting is the Science and Technology of strengthening the existing structures or structural elements to enhance their performance with new technology, features and components. Retrofitting of an existing reinforced concrete structure includes either repair, rehabilitation (or) strengthening terms.

Retrofitting refers to the process of updating older equipment with new technology. In the world of industrial electrical equipment, retrofits are regularly used to add functionality to many types of electrical equipment, including circuit breakers, motor controls, panelboards and switchgear.
